ARA Moreno - Scratch - Scale: 1/700 by Santiago Ezcurra

This model represents the Argentine battleship ARA Moreno in its original configuration in 1915. Evergreen sheets were mainly used to build the model and also other appropriate materials. The PE rails are from Lion Roar and paintings used were basically Humbrol enamels. The construction demanded approximately seven months between January and August 2009, but surely I will rebuild the main guns barrels because I have not been satisfied with the final result! Anecdotally, I can say that my great-grandfather served on this ship.
