Some fresh photos of an elderly build of mine of  the 1/700 WEM kit of HMS Sussex.

The model  was built in the -(for me!)- pre-internet days of 1997  and as a result due to in those days my rather more limited library and
research  materials  the model is riddled  with in-accuracies, oversights and  plain  ignorance !!

Nevertheless its a useful bench mark to compare standards-of-build  to  my current models; => I guess some progress has been made in the intervening 14 years....!
