Hollandsche Modelscheepsgieteryen

As an amateur modeller from the Netherlands, I've often scratchbuilt ships from my country's naval history, of which few kits are available commercially. Inspired by my fellow modellers at Fine Waterline (who graciously granted me the use of their webpage), I decided to launch my own 1:700 resin craftsman's kits. Not trying to compete commercially or make any profit, they are intended to give any modeller with an interest in the Dutch Navy a little head start in building these beautiful little vessels. The first one, Hr.Ms. Douwe Aukes (she also carried the HMS prefix for a while) of these is now available. I intend to present more little-known Dutch ships in the future; on the stock is the Hr.Ms. Gouden Leeuw, a minelayer from the 1930's which was stationed in the Netherlands East Indies.
